Artist Statement
After years of working in the commercial/graphic arts, I made the decision
to pursue my interest in portraiture. The freedom to paint the beauty of
Polynesian woman is an endless source of fascination.
Commissions for individual portrait can be made upon request.
Originally from New Jersey and NY Metro area, I consider Hawaii my adopted
home as both my husband and son were born in Honolulu. I never tire of the
natural beauty of the islands and consider it a breathtaking source of inspiration.
I am still influenced, however, by growing up on the east coast.
Both provide me with an endless source of diversity in my work.
